“The first brief showed me a $4k invoice sitting unread for 11 days. That alone paid for a year of the agent.”— Daniel E. · Independent consultant
An operator, not an autoresponder.
Reads what arrives, understands what it means, acts on what matters.
Inboxes, finally caught up.
Freelancers, agencies, and founders are running the AI Mail Manager on live inboxes. These are their words.
“Caught a $4k invoice that had been sitting in my inbox for 11 days. That alone paid for the agent for a year.”
“It found a client follow-up I’d completely forgotten about. Sent the draft, signed a $9k retainer the next week.”
“Stopped checking email at 7am. The brief tells me what actually needs me, and the drafts are already in my voice.”
“Promise tracking is the killer feature. I used to lose threads weekly. Now nothing slips, and clients notice.”

“I used to triage 200 emails a day. Now I open the brief, approve a few drafts, and I’m done before coffee.”
“Read-only mode for the first two weeks made all the difference. Watched it work, then turned drafts on.”
“The opportunity radar surfaced a warm intro I would have skimmed past. Closed it as a project two weeks later.”
“Drafts sound like me, not like ChatGPT. That’s the difference between a tool I use and one I trust.”

We've got answers.
Will it send emails on my behalf without asking?
No. The agent only drafts. Every reply, follow-up, or nudge waits for your approval. You can also run it in fully read-only mode where no drafts are written at all — it just briefs you.
Do I have to switch from Gmail or Outlook?
No. You keep using your existing inbox exactly as you do today. The agent rides on top — it reads new threads, surfaces what matters, and prepares drafts. You stay where you are.
What permissions does it need?
Read access to your messages and threads, plus the ability to write drafts (which always sit in your Drafts folder until you send). Optional: archive and labels. You can revoke any scope from your Google or Microsoft account at any time.
Where is my email data stored?
Your inbox content is processed inside your isolated OpenClaw container. We do not pool your messages with other users. When you disconnect, the container’s working memory is wiped.
How does it learn my tone?
On setup, you point it at a few past replies (or it samples from sent mail with your permission). It builds a private tone profile — concise, warm, formal, direct — and writes drafts in that voice. You can adjust the profile any time.
What about cold outreach and newsletters?
By default the agent mutes mass marketing and cold outreach so they never enter your daily brief. You can whitelist specific senders or topics if you want certain newsletters surfaced.
Does it work for multiple inboxes?
Yes. Connect a personal Gmail and a work Outlook (or any combination). The brief is unified, but actions are scoped to the right account. No cross-contamination between work and personal threads.
Can I stop it whenever I want?
Yes. One click disconnects the agent from your inbox, revokes all OAuth scopes, and wipes the container’s memory. No exit cost, no friction.
